Mr. Argo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Master of Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver. He is retired from the U.S. Navy’s submarine service, where he specialized in training, maintenance and material management. He was certified as a Master Training Specialist in 1990. Mr. Argo is currently employed by the State of Florida as the Assistant Park Manager of Big Lagoon, Perdido Key, and Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Parks in Pensacola.

Mr. Blankenship earned a Master of
Science degree in Administrative Science from the University
of Alabama in Huntsville and a Bachelor of Science degree
in Chemistry from Athens College. Mr. Blankenship has over
30 years of professional experience in the field of Fire
Science, including hazardous waste materials transportation
safety, emergency management, hazardous materials related
training and education, release and potential release of
hazardous materials and environmental contaminants, preparing
written reports and emergency response plans, complying
with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal
Railroad Association (FRA) regulations and training on the
handling of hazardous materials.

Mr. Defee earned a Master of Science degree in Sciences for Disaster Response from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College. He is presently serving as the commander of the 48th Civil Support Team (CST). While serving as the deputy commander of the 44th CST, he led the team response to weapons of mass destruction incidents and standby missions to include the Anthrax response Boca Raton, G8 Summits and Super Bowl. During past years he has supported numerous federal and state agencies providing training and performing missions with agents in the field.

Ms. Jordan earned a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Policy from American University and a B.S. degree in Biology and Marine Science from Texas A&M University. She has over 14 years of experience as a marine biologist in the environmental policy and management arena at a national level, with a focus on natural resource management and environment compliance. In addition to teaching environmental science courses with FCCJ, she has been an adjunct with Jacksonville University teaching Biology and Environmental Science.

Mr. Wylie earned a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from Florida Institute of Technology. He is currently an Environmental Engineer/Scientist with the Water Quality Division of the City of Jacksonville. He has over 25 years experience in environmental protection including 20 years of permitting various environmental systems in Florida. Additionally, he has been involved in drafting new Environmental Protection Board Rules and Permit Guidance Documents and participated in drafting the Water Quality Plan for the City of Jacksonville.
