To find out more about how FCCJ and the Military Education Institute can assist with your education, visit the new GoArmyEd online portal that has automated many of the paper-based processes you may have conducted with your Army Education Services Officer in the past. GoArmyEd is the virtual portal to request Tuition Assistance (TA) online, anytime for classroom, and distance learning courses. GoArmyEd is used by soldiers to pursue their postsecondary educational goals. Army Education Service Officers use GoArmy Ed to provide educational guidance, and FCCJ uses this virtual portal to deliver degree and course offerings and to report your progress.

SOCAD is the Service members Opportunity Colleges (SOC) degree program for the Army. Once you start your degree or certificate program with Florida Community College, a SOC agreement will allow you to transfer your credits from one institution to another and will serve as your agreement with the College for degree or certificate completion.
A SOC agreement will be provided to Army student through the GoArmyEd portal.
For students who are interested in maximizing their time to degree completions, these accelerated degree programs are designed with you in mind.
When you call or e-mail one of the MEI advisors, you'll be getting educational advice from advisors who are familiar with military transfer credit and the obligations of the service member.
Online student services including registration and tuition assistance are available through the GoArmyEd portal.
Once you've completed your degree, Florida Community College has negotiated transfer agreements with four year universities and colleges. By taking advantage of these agreements, you'll be able to transfer as a junior.
Note: You are not required to transfer to one of these schools. Talk to your advisor about all of your transfer options.
