Florida Community College at Jacksonville offers Navy service members regionally accredited education anywhere worldwide.

Once you're ready to get started and complete your degree, we have advisors to help. To contact an advisor, drop us an e-mail, or give us a call at 877.633.5950.

The Military Education Institute offers a variety of degree programs for members stationed anywhere in the world. There are a variety of online degree and certificate programs available as well as on site programs for members stationed right here in Jacksonville.

SOCNAV is the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) degree program for the Navy. Once you start your degree or certificate program with Florida Once you start your degree or certificate program with Florida Community College, this agreement will allow you to transfer your credits from one institution to another and will serve as your agreement with the College for degree or certificate completion. To help you get started, Florida Community College offers the following services:

  • Accelerated Degree Programs
    For students who are interested in maximizing their time to degree completions, these accelerated degree programs are designed with you in mind.
  • Dedicated Military Advisors
    When you call or e-mail one of the MEI advisors, you'll be getting educational advice from advisors who are familiar with military transfer credit and the obligations of the service member.
  • Degree Roadmaps
    These roadmaps are designed to show you how to maximize the college credit you've earned in the military. By following the roadmap that matches your rate, you'll see what you've already earned toward a specific degree.
  • Online Student Services
    Artemis is your virtual portal to registering for classes, viewing your grades, getting a degree audit, paying for your classes, and much more.
  • Navy College Program Distance Learning Program (NCPDLP)
    Florida Community College is a charter member of NCPDLP. The Navy has matched specific rates with degrees to help sailors maximize credits earned through their rate and training.
  • University Transfer Agreements
    Once you've completed your degree, Florida Community College has negotiated transfer agreements with four year universities and colleges. By taking advantage of these agreements, you'll be able to transfer as a junior.

    Note: You are not required to transfer to one of these schools. Talk to your advisor about all of your transfer options.
