The Military Education Institute offers a variety of degree programs for members stationed anywhere in the world. There are a variety of available as well as on site programs for Marines stationed right here in Jacksonville.
SOCMAR is the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) degree program for the Marines. Once you start your degree or certificate program with Florida Community College , this agreement will allow you to transfer your credits from one institution to another and will serve as your agreement with the College for degree or certificate completion. When you call or e-mail one of the MEI advisors, you'll be getting educational advice from advisors who are familiar with military transfer credit and the obligations of the service member.
Artemis is your virtual portal to registering for classes, viewing your grades, getting a degree audit, paying for your classes, and much more.
Once you've completed your degree, Florida Community College has negotiated transfer agreements with four year universities and colleges. By taking advantage of these agreements, you'll be able to transfer as a junior.
