DESIGN TECHNOLOGY GIS – Geographic Information Systems

One of the newest and most sought after computer software skills, GIS is utilized by wide variety of business and government services. GIS links mapping or geospatial data to information databases to create dynamic intelligent maps. Examples of the use of GIS are local zoning maps, land use information, property tax assessment maps, emergency services management, utility facilities, customer service analysis and more. Our GIS instructors are ESRI certified and experienced in the use of GIS software for real world applications.
